I would guess you did not planned this shot, but look at the symmetry, awesome

no haha, i dont call myself a photographer. this shot is much more simple and lucky than anyone would think. I was standing on the top deck of a cruise ship, looking down at Puerto Rico. Set my camera for 2 second exposure, took the shot while twisting my camera in two circles xD

Hey, lots of "happy accident" happens like this. Just gotta keep looking, keep up the good work.

it works on most things, bring it in as a layer, layer-overlay setting, rotate and erase the edges, move the electric layer around and find an edge of the object under it and pow. if u get chance look at the image me109 on my page. the googles were black and flat then i use the electric overlay it inplyed motion and tention. check smithsonian arrowspace folder,
Feb 6th, 2011 Replyi use 5 or 6 photos to make one image and then use the efx to get a nice energy vibe.

ahhh, i see man, it does give an electric feel! thanks, i will test this out next time i make a design :)

over lay this on an image, the color deepens and ads an instant cool vibe.

any image you mean? like a graphic work?
Feb 6th, 2011 Replyreubencole
i have just started incorperating painting with light and found it works very well in the layer merge mode. i am also kind of spellbound with its inplyed movement. i will check in to see more of this type of work from u. well done.

haha thanks mate :) Im afraid i dont have many more of these that are GOOD in a sense, as I tried this with a bunch of cities but none were very good, or came out well because of how many lights there were :(
