Love the colors and the way the flowing shapes of the hills in the bg contrast with the "sharp" uprights shapes of the grasses! I have never used gouache before--do you know how it compares to acrylics or watercolor? are the muted tones typical of gouache or is that your preferred palette? :)
thank you! gouache is like a cross between acrylic and watercolour i guess, you can use it as you would use either and the colours are kinda muted lately because unfortunately i am just trying to make the paints last longer since i dont know when i will be able to afford new paint :P
lulz!! Necessity IS the mother of all creation, right?! ;) I paint so infrequently as it is, my paints are probably all dried up! Something about painting makes me nervous and twitchy...its something I want to get over later...baby steps!!
