Things are always changing. I biggest obstacle is making sure my camera is always ready. One of my photography teachers told me to take a picture a day. I think this is very good advice and something I feel is important for me. It is a form of therapy, relaxation and peace. Today with the modern world of digital it is so easy to snap away without taking the time we once had to. With digital photography you see your images right away. I think that it is easy to forget to take that extra time to get the photograph you really want because you can take so many.

I have been creating "on again, off again" for most of my life. I know a little about a lot and as a result have yet to master anything. I prefer to work in colored pencils and my muses are mythology and nature. I am rediscovering my creativity; it really is like breathing (its that important). So, the art here I create in celebration of self, for myself; its my way of healing. Perhaps once I reach the point where I was "back then" I will have the confidence to seek commissions or commercial success with my art. In the meantime, I welcome criticisms as well as glowing reviews; please be generous in your honesty.
