glad it did too!
would like to play around with fractals at some point, they look like a lot of fun and ive always enjoyed mathematics..anyway, is there a good beginner program or some other program that you would recommend for a newbie?!
I would recommend either JWildfire or Apophysis – both are fairly powerful and have a "Triangle Editor" mode. Which means instead of having to do advanced mathematics you can just drag and rotate the triangles (refernce points) around to get the look you want. The GIMP also has a very cool fractal flame editor, plus it's an amazing free image manipulation program as well. all my star-scapes are made in GIMP. You can find JWildfire here: http://www.andreas-maschke.com/?page_id=42 | Apophysis here: www.apophysis.org | GIMPyou can find here: www.gimp.org
