Aug 22nd ReplyMighty fine composition you have going on here, sweetie...all the elements come together at a very pleasing focal point and sort of explode and implode back and forth (at least to my eyes...might just be tired!) Some beautiful greens, rich tones, and amazing exposure. And the color of that water is so mesmerizing! That color doesn't occur in nature on this side of the country...

teehee..i really liked that extra ripple in the runout..kinda made the waterfall breath..or implode and explode as you put it
loved the water color too but oh my goodness is it cold! had to do some creative scrambling so i didnt have to get in :D i did for a few seconds though and couldnt stand it for any longer..made the water at feature show feel like a hot tub!

Oh you lucky bastage (pardon the "Johny Dangerously" reference). Yeah it's been around 103-108 for the last month or so here. Least it's been mostly dry though, humidity gets horrible here.

ughh..sounds like eastern washington where i grew up! dont miss that climate at all! luckily we didnt have to deal with the high humidity too often..that is horrible! cooler times are coming soon!

aww.... so refreshing..... oh i am sitting there... in the shadow of the rocks... admiring the miracle of nature.... yes... your work brings me to the sulphur creek... i even can feel the mist of the millions of tiniest droplets from the fall.... oh i love the aquamarine tone of the water... it tells me of the deepness and the flow.... also it is a wonderful contrast to the warm yellow greens of the moss and the trees... again Addam... you created a master piece
