a fall that i probably should have ventured to later in the year..for the first time anyway! but after an extra three miles of hiking along snowmobile packed roads and scrambling down several hundred feet in about 10 feet of snow..i found it :]
the grandeur of the falls was greater than i had expected..around 110 feet of straight drop into the wonderful winterscape. one that will definitely be revisited in a snowless atmosphere :)

middle anderson falls near baker lake, wa

please dont use my art in any way without my permission..thank you :]

Oh my! Another marvelous shot from you Addam! I can imagine how the hiking went. How you stumbled, fell, crawled and slide! Not everyone will/can do what you did and not everyone have the same courage to overcome what you overcame. That's why the natures themselves are very thankful of you as you continously share these masterpieces to all of us. My heartfelt thanks Addam as again I saw nature at its best!

Another great shot, from the photo it was def worth the hike. Just be careful with your footing.
You have captured the essence and although frozen a wonderful view in time i swear I can feel the spray on my face.

My, done another extreme photo shoot eh?! Such a fantastic view, no wonder you've done what you could just to get here, and thanks again for sharing it with us...
Yeah, it would be more fantastic to get it's photo during fall, all orangey tone, etc. but still this one looks magical.
as from heather's comment, how'd you come up again to the path? Was it harder?

oops..forgot to answer your question! will just say, yes..much much harder! was fun sliding down to the bottom..not so much crawling my way out..was lethargic by the time i got back to the road..then i realized i still had three miles of snow to walk back in was a great day to do it all though

Ohh, can't wait for that! hmmmn, it seems a good idea! Extreme photography eh? My it really seems that hard to go out of there... But hey you came back in one piece! Think it'll be much better experience for you during the spring when you go back there, the slippery snowpath isn't there anymore...

listen to you bragging about your hike! think it's awesome that you brave what the rest of us won't or can't..a true testament to your dedication for sure! and you captured this one perfectly, given the massive drop. those ones are always so hard to frame up right! flawlessly done here, my dear...love it!
