though eastern washington is mainly known as a desert/farmland..it does hold one of the most remarkable waterfalls in the state...Palouse Falls. the geology surrounding the falls is noteworthy on its own..to have such an amazing waterfall rushing through it just takes what was left of your breath from the mind boggling view!
