back from a week of adventures around the pacific NW..bunches and bunches of pictures to go through!
thanks to the eagle eyes of, LeeAnne.. http://shadowness.com/lmemrick ..found this fall hanging out in a crevice of the washington side of the columbia gorge. the water flow was a little too much to ideally capture the fall..but the area was gorgeous and the little details around were fun exploring..was even a cave in the rock that went behind the falls! :]

oh thanks for the tips mate. i'll definitely make sure of that. im just starting, dont have an dslr yet but cannie(my digicam) take modest shots and im comfortable with her. but ill adopt another one sometime.

Fantastic work, I love how the shallow depth of field draws you into the scene, but doesn't restrict the scale of the subject at all. Great stuff!
