this waterfall along forest service road #2060 is an amazing cataract with a horrendous name...asbestos creek falls, which most likely stemmed from the nearby mining of silver along the mountain loop area. ACF is just under 1000 feet tall and consist of 9 tiers, this view shows tiers 6, 7 and 8.

fabulous take of tier 7 by LeeAnne

Beautiful capture, DD! Love those two rocks in the foreground..leading the eye nicely up the many tiers (had no idea there were so many!!) missed those cloudy/rainy days this time around, but this is a nice reminder that the more favorable weather will indeed return. ;)
love the title too..very creative thanks for the shout-out sweetie..is much appreciated, along with this awesome capture!

would definitely be up to the challenge of seeing how far up the tiers we could get..but yes, would be an entire day's adventure! think it would be good for me to conquer some more fears that way.. :]
you're so welcome sweetie..let me know when we're going back!

and again.... what a most fantastic capture, Addam.... wonderful how the water changes from the fall to the rather quiet creek.... this peace within this angle.... a fascinating work, dear !

always amazes me when the water calms so fast after its tumble, that and when raging falls turn into the smallest of streams.
so very appreciative of your kind words and input, dear..thank you!
