i would like to see a hint of her legs..... though... she is Alice.... and in the wonderland... but she is too realistic to 'hover'.....

actually it is the white queen. what is hover? is it the same as float? if so she does not float but sits on a dark shelf. this is also a part that i had to pay more attention to. Thank you for the comment. again it is very helpfull to me.

you know... if the concept would be more unreal... more abstract... then she could be without legs.... but this way the viewer miss the legs..... the candels are different, as they are placed in the dark back ground...they could be placed upon an unvisible pedestral so there is no problem.

Hi Barbara. to this picture only the mouse is added. I was invited with other photographers to shoot an Alice in Wonderland theme. backgrounds and the models were all as real as possible reproduced. I have adjusted the photo just a little. but you are absolutely right, it looks to real. On my site you can see more of this theme. http://www.depaulus.nl/Themafotografie.html

Hi Paul !! thank you so much for the link to your other Alice in Wonderland pictures!! I love the one with the huge bodies in the foreground, to the left and right... and the one with the fallen tea pot..... or the one with the falling cards.... but the best is, for me.... the one with the huge bodies and the fallen tea pot.... as these are really magic... nothing wrong and yet.... very unusual and thats why Alice in the Wonderland......

I really like this. I love the detail of her dress and her look. It's kind of loving but I also kind of get a sinister feeling. For some reason, I don't think she's as nice as she seems. There's a certain mystery about her. I think it's a great photo but there's something about the lighting of this that seems a little off. I kind would like to see her face a bit more lighted (not much but a tad bit more). The brightest light seems to move down to her waist and the bottom part of her dress. I kind wold like to see move up instead of down...Overall, I think you did a really good job with this.

thanks for your positive comments. perhaps it would be better to darken the bottom a bit to make it a bit more mysterious. Your comments, it is very helpful. I will definitely keep in it mind for my next project. Thanks also for the fav.
