A minimalist artwork on the Shibumi concept, an oriental concept that maybe describe the essence of minimalism itself.
Here you can find some features of the shibumi:
"Great refinement underlying commonplace appearances", "simple, subtle and unobtrusive beauty", "articulate brevity", "understated beauty", "tranquility that is not passive", "being without the angst of becoming" , "authority without domination", "harmony in action", "invisible excellence" and "elegant simplicity".
I wanted to illustrate it, make it like a poster for the entire movement. And the only way that I found to get it right was to "paint with light"...
