United States Hi everyone my name is Shawna Walker and im 23. I lived in California for most my life when i was a lil girl But i now live in Underwood Washingtoni have lived On the Washington and Oregon side of the Columbia Gorge i had a bad childhood when i was growing up But thats what made me who i am today.I saw that photography helped me show the way i felt and made me forget all the bad stuff that has and was going on in my life; somethings just never go away. I like how photography helps me show people what i think is beautiful threw my eyes. I got in to photography when i was 14 years old. i haven’t taken any college class but have been thinking about it. my friends and family say i have a good eye for photography which is really nice to know they have my back. I like taking photos of the outdoors, meaning animals, plants, sky, water, people ect. So yeah i love taking photos in natural lighting. I hope everyone likes my photos enjoy. Mar 5thI'm 23 and I'm a amature photographer who enjoys photographing and sharing the beauty that surrounds us everyday. I was born in Portland Oregon. I lived most of my life on the Washington and Oregon side by the Columbia Gorge, a few years in Pleasant Hill Oregon were i live now and a year in Pennsylvania. I had a bad childhood when i lived with my mother till i was 9 years old and lots of other bad things have happened to me in my life. But that's what has made me who i am today. I don't like when other's steal my work or say i do when they know its my photographs or writing they have stolen from me. In my eyes stealing other peoples photographs or other work just shows your not a true photographer and you don't have any respect for other's; Lying doesnt get you any where. I love nature, i like taking photos in the natural lighting and of whatever catches my eye. I hope everyone likes and enjoys my photography. May 24thHello! My name is Oslo, it is the name that suits me best. I am a 23 year old Photographer from the Chicagoland area in Illinois. I have been more of a photographer of things and places than people, but I'll soon be taking more pictures of that third noun. My first camera was named Naoko, a japanese name for truth. I thought it fit because the Camera has always seemed like the most honest of artistic tools. My second camera, a Panasonic Lumix DMC-Fz5, had no name, as I deemed it too frustrating to have one. My current camera is a Canon 7D which I have named Naota, which is a Japanese name representing honesty. I am an aspiring musician also... I perform vocals (of the metal variety) and have written hip-hop verses for the sake of doing so. I also write guitar and own a midi keyboard, but I'm not very good with it. Over here, I'm just hoping to find growth and inspiration here. ...possibly see what kind of awesome things I could bring to the table. I seek to explain my perspective through my work... so I won't say much more via text. Thank you.

I am inspired not only by other artists but from life itself. I am inspired by people, textures, smells, sounds, all my senses seem to come alive when I draw. My drawings take me on an artistic journey of self discovery. I feel my soul awaken when I draw. GOD has given me a gift and it's a gift I hope to use to bring people closer together. It's a gift I hope to use to capture the beauty that's in this World. I don't want my drawings to simply be pictures drawn on pieces of paper - I want my drawings to be a celebration of life. My portraits are like my children. I created them and I'm proud of them. I hope to change the way people "see" each other. Everyone is special in their own special way. People trul inspire me. I love to learn about people, I love to learn backgrounds, traditions, and cultures. I think this is why I became a portrait artist, it just seemed natural to me. I believe that every person is beautiful and I hope to bring out that beauty in each portrait I draw. I hope to bring out the person's soul. I thank GOD everyday for the gift HE has given me. It's a gift that I hope to use to bring people closer together. It's one I hope to bring everyone's inner beauty out. It's one that I hope to make us all learn something about ourselves. Nov 14th, 2011For me photography is about the fun of finding the images and then the printing of the photographs. I find no difference in the cartoon style photography or the "serious" B&W, fine art style or photojournalism. It is the exploration of the world around me in photographs. A way of seeing and then communicating this to others through photography. You can find some of the more serious me on one of my blogs at "spacetimebeing.blogspot.ca" Started doing photography in 1970. Working mostly in black and doing all my own processing and printing. Ran a photography business in the 1980's and early 1990's. Now doing photography digitally, but going back to film every now and then. Also taking the first steps into digital art (have a very long way to go) with Poser, Hexagon, Bryce, and Daz. As a working photographer all commissions welcome.

My greatest interest is in street photography, simply because it allows daily life to be documented and captured, transforming the seemingly mundane in to the strikingly aesthetic. I study in Sydney, but will be spending the year in Germany, and am the admin of #BisherStreetPhotography (www.bisherphotos.com).
Feb 26th, 2012The Taoistic philosopher Zhuang-Zi once expressed his attitude towards life: "Leap into the boundless and make it your home!" I totally agree and thus chose it as my guiding principle! Now, Henry Cartier-Bresson aptly provides a link between this Taoistic principle and photography: "Taking photographs (...) is a way of shouting, or freeing oneself, not of proving or asserting one's own originality. It is a way of life." So, in short, I take pictures because I love to and I love to take pictures because they are manifestations of a particular simple and sensitive attitude towards life. Lors de sa publication je participais au choix des artistes représentés et à la mise en page, ainsi qu’à l’illustration de certaine nouvelles. Par la suite, j’ai été amené à travailler avec diverses associations, maisons de disques et maisons d’édition pour la création d’affiches, flyers, pochettes de cd, logos, illustrations…. Me découvrant de plus en plus une passion pour le monde du multimédia j’ai voulu élargir ma palette en me penchant sur l’univers du web grâce à une formation au CNA CEFAG de Bagnolet en 2006. C’est à partir de juillet 2010, après un poste de 2 ans en tant que graphiste web designer à lexpress.fr, où j’ai perfectionné mes connaissance en html, css, flash, photoshop et autres domaines relatifs au graphisme , que je me lance dans la freelance me permettant ainsi de varier les projets travaillant ainsi avec des architectes, des cinéastes, ainsi qu’avec des entreprises diverses et variées et mêlant plusieurs media.
