The End of the Day

by dSnider in Pano's

This was late evening at the world famous Tunnel View located in Yosemite National Park. Lots of rain and cooler temperatures gave lots of atmosphere. 9 shot pano shot portrait style then stitched.

Thanks man! A lot of people leave the man made wall at the overlook there out at this spot but as soon as I saw it I wanted in my shot. LOL! Maybe I am weird. I just loved the conditions that day.

Nope...not weird at all! I would have done the same thing! That wall and the tree on the left help anchor the shot for me. Gives me a sense of space!

That's exactly why I wanted to leave them in. I thought it gave more depth and gave a sense of scale to the scene better. This place is hard to convey in any picture. You just can't truly appreciate the grandeur and size of the sheer cliffs in Yosemite without seeing them with your own eyes. This was my attempt at giving viewers an idea of just how immense the whole scene is. Thanks again Tom!
