Here's another from the amazing sunset we had on Navarre Beach this past weekend. Had a lot of fun playing with the waves in the foreground.

Such a serene place...glad that came through in the shot! Thank you!

You're welcome. I live in a city, there are no sunsets like this one!
Feb 11th ReplydSnider
This place is a far drive from my home. I wish I got this view everyday. But I am lucky to live in the country though I admit!
Feb 11th ReplyStezi
Beautiful, where is that?
Feb 12th ReplydSnider
This is a place called Navarre Beach located in Northern Florida. This is the Gulf of Mexico. :)

Very beautiful and so different from where I live (Holland)
Feb 12th ReplydSnider
Holland is near the top of my list for places I hope to visit! You have a beautiful country in it's on way! I have a few friends that live there. :)
Feb 12th ReplyStezi
It depends on where you live in Holland. In the North (where I a come from) it is flat, windy and agricultural. In the East (where I live now) it is hilly, lots of forest, more cities. In the South it is more hilly and warmer. In the West most people go to visit Amsterdam, The Hague, the beaches. I also love the beaches and we go there several times a year. Amsterdam is very nice, but I prefer The Hague (with Scheveningen), Delft (pittoresque), Gouda, Volendam. Just depends on what you like!

Such a small country with so much diverse landscapes and things to see! My friends live in The Hague and visit the beach a lot. From the pics I have seen, it is a country I hope to be able to see most of while I am there! I know Kinderdijk and it's amazing windmills are on the list when I do make it over!! Thank you for the information Stezi!

Picture postcard perfect, Dennis :) Great motion and I like the soft colors. I can't wait to get to the gulf to experience the sea and try my hand at this kind of shot. Gonna be a fun time at the meetup!

I cannot wait man!!! Gonna be a blast! You guys are gonna love that area of Florida. I'll even recommend some places to go in the area for you. I haven't been to that area in awhile now but I sure am thinking of getting back there soon. Thank you so much about the shot! Each wave gave me something totally different. So much fun to play with.

Thanks Lucie! Each wave gave me a completely different looking shot.
Feb 2nd ReplyLucifer
yes i bet it did. do you always use tripod when you take pics like this?
Feb 2nd Reply who wants a hug?dSnider
I sure do. Just to long of an exposure to hand hold and get things sharp.
Feb 2nd ReplyLucifer
i have never tried long exposure. i will have to learn something more about it.
Feb 3rd Reply who wants a hug?dSnider
They are a lot of fun. Feel free to ask me any questions I might could help you with. :)
Feb 3rd ReplyLucifer

You are welcome Lucie! It doesn't take much...a small stream after a heavy rain storm can be a lot of fun to use this technique with so just message me anytime! :)
Feb 4th ReplyLucifer
well i definitely want to try it so lets see what i can do with my poor skills of taking pics with long exposure
Feb 4th Reply who wants a hug?dSnider

a quiet evening..... the sound of the waves just murmuring..... no big turbulences.... peace....yet.... so much drama within... what a game of the water... softly shaping the sand... what a fullness of colours.... lively turquoise against mellow apricot ........

Thank you Barbara! I just love the amazing blend of colors you can get in that area. The sand is sugar white and reflects whatever colors there are. You can get some interesting lighting down there as well! Not another person out there in sight the entire hour I was there except my buddy that was with me. Had a cold beer and waited on the light. Haha!

your paradise...... (it would be mine too if i lived there) how pristine and enchanting in all its facettes of colours, sounds and shapes.... i can feel your closeness.... your 'melting into this awesomeness'...... again... a most wonderful.... and deeply understanding work

Thanks my friend! I do have a deep connection with that place. It seems to like me to.
