This is a shot I got of a Hummingbird Moth in my front yard last spring as it was going from flower to flower. Not the best of shots but I am really looking forward to seeing them again soon as all the flowers begin blooming around here.
Your art is very inspirational to all of us artists and at Shadowness we like to thank our amazing artists for all they do, to show our appreciation for you, your artwork has been featured in todays Daily Inspiration #716
mmmmmhh.... just can smell the scent of the lavender the Moth is spreading by its rounds..and i get drunk by it.......... love the soft colours of yellow greens and the blue of the flowers which associate the summery warmth !
Wasn't a breath of wind that day either and there were at least 50-100 of them in a fairly small patch of these blooms. So laying there on the ground you could hear the buzzing of their wings as they would zip around.
Was able to saw a local bee yesterday kissing the small blooms of a white flower (don't know the exact name I'm afraid) as well, photographed it in my memory, aww, still missed my cam, hopefully in the next 2 months I'll be able to buy a new one...
I will be hoping you can get your camera situation worked out soon as well my friend! I take many shots just in my memories to. Sometimes it's the best thing to do. :)
