Thank goodness for fog. I knew I wanted to shoot this tree for a while but needed the fog to block out the background. Thank you so much!

Trees!
I literally drive around looking for interesting trees just so I can go back on a foggy day or if they are in a good location for a sunrise or sunset.
Thanks Lucie!
Jan 14th ReplyLucifer
really? hahahaha you are crazy
noooo
trees have something special and give nice touch to the pics. i have never thought i am so crazy about trees in the pics but when i came here i found out this
because when i saw what pics i faved then i could see that on all of them was some tree
Jan 15th Reply who wants a hug?dSnider
You had a hidden love for trees then! YAY Shadowness for helping you find it!
I think that is awesome! Yes I can be considered crazy for the things I do to get a good photograph I totally admit it.
Photography is helping me get over a fear of heights I have suffered with.
Jan 16th ReplyLucifer
oh thats why you have profile pic like that? sitting so high
and there was one moment i saw really HUGE spider (and when i say huge then it was HUGE) and stayed from him like 3 metres and took pic. then when i wanted to check the pic in my camera i zoomed it and when i looked at it i threw my camera away and ran into the house XD XD its true :D im not kidding :D thanks god it was my old compact
Jan 17th Reply who wants a hug?and i must totaly agree because i have arachnophobia and i tried to take pics of spiders ...and it helped a bit because when i took macro of them then i went really close and i was so concentrate to take sharp and good macro that i forgot about my fear of them.
but its true that i took pics of only little spiders

Thats one of the best photograqphy stories I ever heard!! Its prety awesome how we can use photography to over come fears. Photography has truly helped me out a lot in life. BTW...I only have a FEW spider pics myself...I don;t like them either. HAHA!
Jan 17th ReplyLucifer
i can not imagine you screaming all over when you see some spider
Jan 18th Reply who wants a hug?dSnider
I usually do more running than screaming.
Jan 18th ReplyLucifer
hahahahahaa
omg i wish i could see that
but you are better than me because i am not able to move from one place and i am standing just like stone and if anyone wants to touch me i would bite
Jan 18th Reply who wants a hug?dSnider
HAHAHA!!! Can you imagine how funny we must look to the spiders with our ways of panicking at the site of them?
Jan 18th ReplyLucifer
no wonder they dont want to go away from my house when they have such a great fun to watch
Jan 18th Reply who wants a hug?dSnider
At least we're entertaining!

Thanks! Love the mood fog creates.

You're absolutely right, wonderful solitairy tree capture.
Jan 14th ReplydSnider
Thank you!
Fog is awesome!
Jan 14th ReplyOlorin
indeed, making in stand out against the hazy forest, and I also like the openness of the tree - seeing the intricate, starkness of structure.
Jan 14th ReplydSnider
I always try to explain to people why I prefer shooting shots around here during winter and you just saw why. In winter...no leaves so you can see the awesome inner workings of the tree. Plus the fog creates shots that you normally don't have. There's a cruddy looking barn you can't even see off in the distance behind that tree. LOL!
Jan 14th ReplyOlorin
Wonderful and cunning shot then, very good
