It's not often we get any snow in my area but the other night a few big flakes were falling and I decided to give snowflake macro a try. Used a LED headlamp for the light source.

Oh my gosh Dennis!
What a wonderful capture! You were really able to capture the snowflake itself, and the LED you've used, it works as if it is natural lighting... My

Thank you Barbara!! I wish the flakes would of stayed around until daylight but I knew they wouldn't so I got the LED. LOL!

Thank you my friend! Isn't it funny you are uploading the spring pics now and I am uploading the winter? Wait a minute...how did that happen? HAHA!!! I have seen some amazing snowflake macro's out there but I thought this was OK for a first attempt. That princess is in there somewhere!!
Mar 5th Replybarfischer
you are more than welcome Dennis!!
Mar 6th Replyoh yes, i bring the spring, you let it snow.. almost at the same time.... what do we next time?? :-))))) Dennis, it is not just ok.... it is magic! and.... hey... we are going to get tale writers.... the other Barbara created the princess who is hidden in your snow flake.... look at my crocus picture 'purple'.... you see there is a fate between your snow and my spring.... they are in touch to each other..... belong to each other... isn't that funny?
:-))))))
