aww.... this rich deep mellow apricot sunset is enchanting... the rock with the little puddle reminds me that all is real.... and not just a dream...... absolutely spectacular Dennis !

I am very honored you think so Barbara! It's truly hard to take a bad picture of Mt. Hood. The location alone will make your jaw drop. Did you get to see it when you were in Oregon? Thank you my friend! I am all about the foreground with my scapes and that rock instantly grabbed my attention.

no..... does it belong to the group of Mt. Saint Helens and Mt. Rainier, the volcanos?
Feb 12th Replywhat you say about the foreground.... it is also 'just a rock' a 'simple' object... (many people would even not notice it) but with such deep and meaningful effect.....

your work is magic Dennis..... absolutely magic..... and it truly brings me out of reality and into this enchantment

ing I am very honored my work can do that for you my friend. I have so much fun and have a lot of love being behind a camera so I am very glad it can have meaning to someone else to. Now Mt. Hood probably could be considered in that game group. It is South of them however. Mt. Adams would be it's closest neighbor but I am pretty sure all those mountain's are "related". They are all amazingly beautiful in their own way for sure. Hehe...yeah me and my rocks. I am usually always looking for them or a tree or SOMETHING to put in my foreground. I like to use it to lead the eye when possible. A lot of times it just gives nice depth though. A better sense of scale. Everyone has their own philosophy about it. LOL! That's what makes photography so much fun though!
