This was a really cool moment I almost missed several years back while in Navarre Beach, FL. The clockwork afternoon thunderstorms were a bit late that day so I had given up on there being any chance at an open sky at sunset. Just so happened to look out the front window and all I could see was purple. Luckily this spot was within walking distance. I was able to get 2 shots and the anti-crepuscular rays disappeared like someone cut off a light switch.

Yup, those darn crepuscular rays will do that sometimes and others they hang around drinking all your wine and getting in peoples eyes--almost making a nuisance of themselves ;) Glad you got the shots, Dennis :)

Thank you so much my friend. I sat down after the light was gone and asked myself aloud if "that just happened". LOL! Those are the best moments. I am so hoping for some thunderstorms when I am down there again but it is usually a hot summer time thing there.
