Original Size: Tabloid 11 x 17 (inches). Date: Originally done in February 2010. Referential Model: the original photo appears in the national geographic issue from december 2004. When Enrique Bunbury wrote the theme “Flor De Loto” the lyrics was inspired in a little child that he met in a trip for Nepal, but this song had to me a completely different meaning when I saw a stunning portrait included in the National Geographic magazine from December 2004, I was shocked with the stunning expression of the gaze of a little girl in the middle of the Afganistan border, one of many places desolate by the cruel war. In that moment I knew that I had to do a illustration of that shot, so this is my protest for all kind of belic conflicts of this earth, because the children always had the worst part on these confrontations without sense. Original Size: Tabloid 11 x 17 (inches). Date: Between January & February 2013. Succubus (female demon): face inspired by Rocki Roads, ex-pornstar from 80's. Incubus (male demon): I've taken inspiration in some medieval costumes. Sacrificial lamb: represents the death of the original true love. ---- "hell is a small place to pay for the atrocity I've committed with the thing that was our love..." "Incubus" was inspired in a song by the rock band Marillion, the original meaning of the song is some different so after of many hours listen the song, I decided create a surreal concept about two teenagers lovers who had a pure and honest love for a while, until the society became that love into a sick relationship, these young were seduced by the sweet venom of the drugs and they left their families to go into a nomadic life dominated more strongly by their addiction to cocaine, when money was running out, he decided prostitute his girlfriend for make money to buy their vice. Everything was turning more darker every day passed until one night she was murdered by a client that really was a serial killer and her boyfriend can't do nothing about it cause he was too much drugged to react, he only could hear her cries & screams like low whispers on his mind, the morning after was the most miserable day in his life, police asked him about the killer, he only answer: "this atrocity wasn't made by any murderer, I was the only guilty who really killed to my princess, and hell is a small place to pay for the atrocity I've committed with the thing that was our love". Illustration inspired on the greek myth about the “Moirae”, the white-robed incarnations of destiny who controlled the metaphorical thread of life of every mortal from birth to death. Also this concept was inspired by the theme “Innuendo” composed by the rock band Queen.

Software used & creation process: The 90% of this art piece is vector art, but there are some raster textures in the background so I've decided put this in a category of mix media digital art. CR Commentary: This piece was done when I passing really bad times, in someway is a reflect of the fears, frustrations & anguish I spent watching the final days of my greatmother in the earth, was a very darkest time and was the beginning to another lenguage very different of my habitual sexy style of work. Right now i'm doing other art pieces with a similar style, this concept will be called "The Book of Revelation". CR__..
