Shadowness - cgaddict Welcome to my Gallery ::) Here you will find a majority of my artwork. Currently all my work is done digitally with Photoshop and a Wacom Intuos 3 Ta... en Warcraft
This was painted for Blizzard Entertainment's BlizzCon 2014 Fan Art Contest. Initially it was just going to be a pretty standard portrait, but I decided I wanted to give the image a bit more depth so I added the fairy and played up the details in the environment as much as I could. The detailing for this piece was very time consuming, but I wanted to make it as refined and detailed as I possibly could. Overall, I'm quite pleased with how this image turned out. Fri, 21 Nov 2014 01:47:46 -0500 Two Dogs, One Cat
A commissioned piece. This was a lot of fun to paint, haven't had this much fun with a project for a while! I was asked to paint two dogs and a cat in a humorous way, and these are the results. I really wanted to give this image personality so I decided to dress them up a bit which really helped bring them to life. Fri, 04 Jul 2014 10:48:03 -0400 Paladin
Commissioned piece for a Fantasy Book Cover. This image depicts a Paladin, and I was given a lot of artistic freedom with this piece so it was a great experience to work on. I wanted the image to look iconic with the figure looking very fierce and attractive at the same time. The crows we're a final touch I gave to the image to give it a more ominous feel. Overall I'm quite pleased with the image. Wed, 04 Dec 2013 12:00:29 -0500 Apollo
Painting of Apollo from Greek Mythology painted for a friend. I really enjoy depicting the tales from Greek Mythology, so I had an absolute blast painting this. I'm very eager to continue painting more images with this theme as well, as I'm always inspired the richness of Greek Mythology. Mon, 22 Jul 2013 11:04:27 -0400 Baby Dr. Lobo
This is a Card Game Illustration for the Board Game 'Agents of Smersh' that I recently completed. This will be featured in the upcoming Expansion Pack for the game. I had a lot of fun with this image, really enjoyed the humorous concept (this image depicts the main villain as a baby, with his unique hairstyle intact). I wanted to give this image a lot of depth as well, so I spent quite a deal of time on the environment as well, which is a route I'm taking with all of my current work. Tue, 09 Jul 2013 10:32:56 -0400 Carlos Caricature
This is a caricature I painted for Carlos, who is an orphan. It felt great to be able to do something positive with my artwork, so I jumped right in for this opportunity. Was also a great opportunity to practice more caricature work which I really enjoy, so you can expect more of that in the future. Special thanks to Wittygraphy who was responsible for this event. Mon, 08 Jul 2013 16:44:40 -0400 The Aussie Butcher
Card game Illustration; I pushed the details here more than I usually do for a relatively small sized Illustration, but it was a lot of fun working on the atmosphere, rain effects, drops, etc. so I went with it. The effects mentioned were very time consuming, but I feel that they add a lot of life and depth to the image. Mon, 17 Jun 2013 06:29:22 -0400 Happy Father's Day
This is a portrait of my Father painted as a gift to celebrate Farther's Day. My father has been incredibly supportive of me as an artist, and he pushed me very hard growing up to refine my technique as best as I can. He also gave great critiques and feedback on what to improve on. Although he's not an artist himself, he definitely has a great eye for art and knows what's working and what's not in regards to creating an image. I wanted to experiment a lot with this painting, using a cooler color scheme than I'm used to and trying to create a more ethereal feeling with this painting, which I feel I achieved. With that said, Happy Farther's Day to all! Sun, 16 Jun 2013 08:41:55 -0400 Jake Gyllenhaal Caricature
Caricature of actor Jake Gyllenhaal done for a contest. I really enjoy doing caricature work, and haven't painted one in ages, so this was a lot of fun to tackle. I'm planning on doing plenty more caricatures in the future as well, would really like to expand my portfolio in that regard. It also gives me a chance to show my sense of humor as well, which is always a plus. Fri, 24 May 2013 07:58:04 -0400
