There you have Emilio Luis Arias, the newest edition to my sister's already busting-at-the-seams family. He's been home for awhile but I've only recently had the free time to visit and see him. It's been so long since I've held an actual infant. Nearly 3 years, actually, because Cheo will turn three in September. Holy shit they grow up fast. Somehow he went from a cute little angel to a mohawked, mischievous culprit.

I almost wanted to slip him into my bag and steal him away - and then he messed himself. I was all to happy to hand him back to his mama then. I am just so grateful that there's nothing permanently wrong with him, and that he'll have a healthy life.
Across the room Eliseo was playing with toys and ignoring us like a pro. Every now and then he'd throw me 'That squirmy thing better not infringe on my attention-time, bitch' looks.

I hung around and fussed over the baby until it was time to return to casa de c. Jessica Pyne and clean up for the next day's open house. Cheo was in a mood and refused to listen to any radio station I chose, so I drove in silence while he glared from his car seat.

In all actuality, I didn't get a damn thing done once we got home. I chased Eliseo around the yard with the camera while he chased Karis around the yard with bugs. I didn't mind. He takes my mind off of all the bad things that I want to forget, K especially. Things are far from good, and not looking to get better any time soon. But it's so easy to overlook when I'm sitting on the porch and I see him come bobbing down the walkway..
