Wed, 07 Nov 2012 03:17:20 -0500 Allison Harvard inspired portrait by Cellesria
This is a quick portrait (for a speed painting) I did inspired from a Model/Artist named Allison Harvard who has a beautiful and unique look - her eyes are especially amazing. She was on the TV show "America's Next Top Model" and is also known on the internet as Creepy Chan. More information about her can be found here: She has a fascination with Hemophilia so I thought the blood was a nice touch. I would also like to note that this portrait is merely inspired by Allison and was not meant to portray a perfect likeness of her. Her beautiful and unique features/personality only inspired me to create this portrait. I looked at a few images of her for reference to study her features but this image was not copied from any content. Painted mostly in Corel Painter with some additional work done in Adobe Photoshop. Around 4 hours of work. I used Corel Painter's symmetry tool for the first time to create this work. It's pretty useful for painting full frontal portraits and symmetrical designs. I stopped using it near the end though since I didn't want the image to be too symmetrical. Here is a link to the speed painting video: Thanks for taking a look! :) CG Wallpapers Shop My Website My Blog Facebook google + Twitter Thu, 05 Jan 2012 05:47:54 -0500 the language of crows by Ember
model: Jessica Truscott =Smoko-Stock sky *joannastar-stock tree branches *JtotheOtotheE wings `NEOkeitaro raven ~StockProject1 branch Thu, 04 Oct 2012 12:22:17 -0400 Alaskan husky - Shy step by Elmeri
This was gift art for Durlic at dA. I met this Alaskan husky in Erä-Susi sled dog company in Ruka (Finland). Unfortunately I don't know her name. She was very social and friendly. The pupil of her other eye really was malformed so I haven't done any huge mistake while drawing it. I think the small imperfection made her even more charming so I wanted to draw it the way it was. Made by 5H, 2B and 6B pencils and a 0,5 HB mechanical pencil on A4 paper. I used my own photo as a ref. No spaceship this time, I really focused on the buildings. It is quite Dylan cole inspired even if I dont have his talent but I learnt a lot from him and his 2D techniques for matte. Very few 3D here, just the arches for basic shapes. All the rest is painting. Textures from my own stock or bought on Asile FX which I recommand a lot: Hope you like it. Thanks for faving and comments always welcomed. Cheers!
