Feb 26th, 2011absolutely. i could expound on the colors, the composition, the perfect sharpness, but i'm sure you already knew that. i think its unique attribute is how engaging/forward it is
Feb 21st, 2011portraits are never really engaging, but your pose here is really aggressive. it brings the viewer in really well
Feb 21st, 2011wonderful tones, lighting, composition, depth of field.. however, she clearly doesn't know how to play violin -- her bow hold is like she's wielding a sword, and that really destroys the whole photo. honest critique, that's all. it's pretty easy to look up a photo of a violinist and at least try to nail it.
