Odense harbor, Winter of 2011.
This was one of the few days in winter that I was able to reach to Odense harbor. Because all the roads were covered in ice, and it was quite hard to bike in those conditions.
But I kind of guessed that I would get a small portion of sun, so I ran fast with high hopes to the harbor.
I managed to catch a small sight of the sun (which is a rare sight in winter) while it was faintly illuminating the icy cracked water.

Wonderful picture! I love the thread in it. I love the smoke of the chimneys. It suggests coldness, underlined by the faint light of winter sun.

It's funny that I was actually close to be involved in a stupid accident, while I was biking I nearly stopped on the fragile ice, because I couldn't see it clearly and from where I came it looked like normal concrete.
May 18th, 2011 Replythankfully I remembered that in summer it used to be water there so I stopped at the right time.
so in fact I was standing on a very small bridge very close to the ice/water, it was also covered in snow, but not ice :)
