my very first try for a matte painting:D dont be hard on me;) didnt take too long, maybe in near future there will be some better mattes from me:) i hope so... thanx for any advice or coments

Aug 8th, 2011 Replysome advice.. You should work on tons of the rocket, now it looks a little like cartoon, add some texture on it,
a bit darker for explosion in center and on the ground, add some small fragments of the earth in center not a lot,
shock wave should be more transparent and a bit distorted, add some darker tons on it on the ground :)

It doesn't look to bad .. maybe the smoke could be a bit lighter but the impact looks fabulous .. very nice concept here.
