9x12 inches Colored Pencil on Canvas
My first colored pencil on stretched canvas,. I'm used to working with rough and textured papers but canvas poses many challenges and requires a totally different approach. It was fun doing this, learning as I go and not knowing how it will turn out.
Done with just good old colored pencils without using any mineral spirits or solvents.
This is a prelude for a much bigger one.

amazing work on canvas with CP, may i ask what brand of canvas did you use, it seems to have taken CP work so well, i tried once CP on canvas but i think it was too rough for me, this looks so smooth like oil painting :)

Sep 19th ReplyIt's just a cheap ready made canvas (CONDA brand). I feel more comfortable working on rough/textured support, I can't seem to get things right on smooth paper.
