7" x 5" Colored Pencil On Watercolor Paper
"Every great work of art has two faces, one toward its own time and one toward the future, toward eternity . . ." —Daniel Barenboim
"FISHKO," a wordplay combination of FISH and ISKO(my buddy's nickname), and can also mean MY FISH. Isko once told me that he'll have to start collecting my artworks so that after my death he can cash it in, that is, if I became famous—it was just a joke of course. This is my gift for him on his birthday.

Detail, colours, finish, all stunning once again. I love that purple!

Yeah I love the part too. I'm just worried about serious fading as most CP purples aren't that lightfast. Thanks again :)
May 16th, 2011 ReplyDuma
Yeah. Is there a way to fix it at all? Like hair spray works for drawings?
May 16th, 2011 Replybleuie
Not even fixative can help. Lightfast colored pencils are very expensive and hard to find, UV resistant glass for framing might help but I don't think we have it here in our country.

Aww. That sucks :(
May 16th, 2011 ReplyYou can try keeping it out of direct light? The originals I have fair better that way

Yeah, I need to remind that to my friend, I gave it to him as a birthday present. :)
