You amaze me on this kind of pics Barbara... Just on how this photo has been composed is so wonderful... Real fantastic... So this kind of pics are called DOF? What do you mean by it if you dont mind answering? Im just new in technical terms
thank you my dear...... your wonderful words let me smile.... thank you so much!!
the DOF means Depth Of Field...... a picture can have a sharp, clear DOF (for landscapes generally) or a blurred DOF (for macros or also sometimes portraits) ... the photographer can handle this with the aperture.... the more open the aperture, the more blurred DOF....the more closer the aperture... the less blurs.... if you have a very strong blur.... you can talk of a bokeh which means a strong blur......
generally i am not the technical photographer, i take my shots rather by my feeling..... hope i could help you a little bit.... or you will ask Addam.... he is a genius in these things.... :-))))
Oh thanks for explaining! Yeah me too, I take photographs tru how and what I feel... Im not that technical as well, but I need to know the stuffs so I can understand what most of the photographers are talking about Greatly appreciated Barbara. I seldom talk to Addam nowadays, but yeah, I'll ask him about this stuff if I got any more questions. Thanks again my dear!
Dennis will explain you too! he also knows a lot about photography..... :-)))
you are most welcome..... and don't worry about not be able to talk a 'photographic language'.... your words always say so much and i love your comments as there is poesy within..... :-))))
Yeah, I ask Dennis about some stuff as well... Thanks for that I just try to tell what the piece is telling me, even though it isn't what the artist wants to tell sometime, I tell whatever the piece is trying to tell me... But I really do want to know the language still that's me always wanting to learn whatever that can enrich my knowledge...
