Was in Glasgow a few years ago and we went on a day trip to Edinburgh, beautiful place. Must go back for a longer visit sometime. : )

Glasgow is also a great City... i love the mix of its characters.... and the highlight is Charles Rennie Macintosh's School of Art .... wait until they are finished building the railway in Edinburgh... right now it was a disappointing place (i know it from former visits) all under construction and kind of a chaos in the old city..you need to visit Edinburgh once in August, when the Fringe takes place..... i think you would enjoy the spectacle !! And the town is busy all the time so it doesn't make any difference but the street artists are kind of bohemian you may like !!!

I hope so. My dad has been on a number of occasions and he says it's one of his favorite places in the world. And he has seen a lot of it, lol.
