Okay, I have decided one of your missions is to capture all of the winter and spring cold weather flowers for me. (*pleads*) I have not seen them in years and would love photos. I can barely remember violets. All these tropical flowers we have are overrated.
wow !! I also had a varieties, not 15, but about 8, but only the blue and white ones survived.... they like dry soil and here maybe it is too wet, i don't know..... here is a wonderful garden of iris and lilies... i was there a few years ago, http://www.jardindesiris.ch/ i will upload an other photo of it for you.......
Wow! That is an incredible place! would love to see it! I find that if your soil is wet, build it up with sand and don't bury the rhizomes very deep. Leave the tops showing and just bury the roots.
Oh, that is a kind tip of you Hollly! Yes i knew, not too deep, but imaybe i need to care of that even better!! Will upload an other picture as soon as i am back again...... !!! thank you for all Holly!!!!!!!
ha, you need a freezing house to grow them, we need a green house to grow palmes and Joshua trees... etc.... thank you so much for your most kind comment Mizzabelle...
