Oh.... thank you Dennis !! I am glad you like it.... i just adjusted it a little as i had some chromatic aberration.....
we have had a couple of really freezing days.... now i am longing for spring !!!!
HAHAHA!!! I'll tell Mother Nature to go share the love with you guys to! Seems spring is actually here.....in February....for us. Crazy. Its almost warm enough to wear shorts outside right now.
we have minus 6° C here ! and you are out with shorts over there..... you see.... it is urgent.... fill a bag with spring, blue hyacinths.....and send it over the ocean !!!
nice macro abstract dear! great textures and like the bubble and how it shows a distorted look into the world these icicles guard :)
not sure if its from the background or not, but seems to be a lot of chromatic aberration on the magenta side, maybe try and reduce the magenta levels..
yes..... i also saw this aberration..... but didn't know how to eliminate..... yes.... i try to reduce magenta.... thank you so so much my dear for this help... you really are a wonderful teacher to me.... i am deeply in your dept..... thank you thousand times !
and yes.... i couldn't find english words to describe what you now did.... the 'look into the world of the icicles' yes... that is it.... the innermost soul of the grown ice.....
very welcome, dear!
i not versed in the aperture software..but looks like under "adjustments" there's an option to adjust the chromatic aberration at top, or you can select the magenta square near the bottom and reduce. both will get rid of the magenta..reducing the color will just make that area colorless as the chromatic aberration adjustment will blend the surrounding area but may cause it to create a cyan problem on the other side..
aww.... thank you again..... i tried to reduce the magenta.... what do you mean now? (i uploaded the adjusted one, kind of litte better now....) i think the light was too intensive for this capture... and created this aberration.....
teehee..doesnt matter what i meant..you fixed the problem! looks great barbara :)
to explain what i meant though.. i was just looking at a screen shot of your software, there appears to be an adjustment slider for either the color or chromatic aberration itself. the chromatic aberration slider will adjust from magenta to cyan fringing, so if you correct the magenta to greatly, it may cause a cyan fringe on the opposite side :)
oh Addam.....you already helped me so many times.... and now i could fix this problem thanks to you (i too noticed the magenta spots, but didn't know why they were there and how to fix the problem) i adjusted a little the magenta..... Thank you so so very much my dear !!!! you truly are a wonderful teacher
my pleasure!
as too why the magenta was there, more than likely its from the closeup of the ice, was hard for the lens to focus all the blue and red spectrums coming onto the sensor..therefore creating the fringing. is not uncommon at all, i deal with it daily, specially when using my kit lens!
i have this lens since last summer..... as i felt i am the macro person..... i still have to learn a lot about macro photography.... you are so so supportive... thank you again Addam! Are you a professional photographer that you have to deal with these problems each day ?
youre macro is very nicely executed and ive never noticed the fringing before so think the conditions happened to be ideal on this one for it. nope, not a professional..i just take hundreds of pics a week to go through..do hope the professional aspect will come someday..but even if not, photography will be something ill enjoy forever :]
for me you are a professional.... and i think for a lot of others too..... !!!!! your work is always adorable..... and what i find is so special..... even each capture of you is perfectly done... it is not just a technic shot.... it is so deeply done with your soul too.... maybe it sounds little strange in english now.... but i am sure you understand what i am trying to say....... :-))
