Great shot! I was there at night and desperately wanted to take a couple of shots because the shadows were amazing BUT there was an extremely agitated, tweaked out guy in the area.
Jan 9th, 2012 Reply C'mon Pookie...As I was walking away from the sculpture he approached me and said something in French. I ignored him and switched my grip on my tripod to more like a club and this provoked him even more and a faster louder stream of French came out. I just kept walking. He gave up and didn't follow but I regret not getting the shot I wanted.

C' est la vie! Et j'ai fait la même expérience. I also had to wait for a long time until i got the sculpture without any people.... but luckily i didn't make the rude experience you had to make. Thank you for your good and kind comment Tom ! I appreciate it a lot !!!!
