have to agree on the overcast sky..really adds to the atmosphere and feeling of this beautiful scene! lovely composition, nice rich colors and fabulous textures! definitely a scene i envision when picturing Scotland..beautiful capture, barbara

Beautiful shot, Barbara! I have to say, I don't think this landscape would have quite the same effect if it were sunny/blue skies. I think the damp looking clouds suit it nicely. Is this still from Scotland?

the shadow play of the clouds gives the landscape a special dimension... yes... its Scotland.... Isle of Skye which belongs to the inner Hebrides between Scotland and Ireland... the word Skye comes from the old gaelic word which means 'cloud' or 'fog'......
