oh yes...... this is the magic light of Scotlands North.... it is unique.... and nowhere else to find..... this is what touched me deeply the first time i was there.... 11 years ago..... since.... i am addicted to this light.....

i asked myself if i would be disappointed about Scotland after i visited the west coast of the USA (with its most stunning and outstanding landscape) .... but i am still deeply taken by the scenery of Scotlands Highlands and Coasts.... (but i also am dreaming of Canon Beach... i never stop dreaming... and who knows.. maybe one day we will be able to be there again.....)

with the start of the industrial revolution, when charcoal was needed to melt iron etc., they cut the forests in the Highlands... since the landscape is bare.... and gives the Highlands its typical view....
