This is a photo reffed portrait of Mel, a classmate at college. She's one of the two animation students who did a stop motion short. She likes to torture a certain penguin who so happens to live with her.

    Wow that 'jitter' effect is really great. I like how it symbolizes movement and that she's an animation student. Gives the portrait some further context and personalization I think.

    This is incredible, the jitter effect makes me feel like I'm hallucinating. I really like how the eyes and mouth are stationary. With the everything else buzzing, my eye naturally rests on those two features. This painting has the strongest focal points I've seen in a very long time. I you use this technique again because its really did a superb job.
