Antediluvian

I decided to take a different route and create some scenery from dreams I've had. "Antediluvian" is a creation based off a reoccurring dream I had years ago. The main colors throughout this piece are greys and reds with mint green grass, dark stormy skies. In the dream I walked throughout this maze of stone, beside me stacked stones guiding the path intertwining inside the rocky structure. Its hard to describe the atmosphere in the dream, it was incredible. Both frightening and comforting at the same time. The feeling is similar to coming home after a very long trip or vacation, walking inside your house and trying to settle back in...like everything you knew and were supposed to feel comfortable in is completely foreign and distant. Its where you live, eat and sleep but it feels like an apparition. That is what I tried to capture in "Antediluvian"
