The unusual galaxy Hoag's Object rises over the ocean of an alien world, accompanied by two crescent moons, in a sky bathed in red-violet. Stars speckle the sky and the reflections of the water.
Watercolor on hot press watercolor paper. The stars and highlights were created by using an exacto knife and cotton swabs dipped in water to scratch out color.
