Great portrait, love how you used watercolors and stains. I would have given the eyes and lips a bit more contrast by adding a bit more flashy colors. I think the expression would be stronger and the face would pop more.

Maybe, what you could try is to add highlights with photoshop and see if it works. That's what I do sometimes before retouching if I'm not sure.
