Made in 2009 All stock is mine Wed, 18 Apr 2012 19:19:46 -0400 In The White
To overcome this I become one with The quiet cold of late november If you don't see I'll remain unseen Until there's time to be remembered Katatonia - In The White Few times in my life have I fought so much with myself to finish an image. This was challenging in more ways than one, and it had the most changes I've ever made to an image of mine. It's a love-hate relationship, when you really REALLY want to finish it to move on with the next thing and end up hating that the process never ends, but at the same time you're telling yourself "don't you dare put this in the backburner, and no, that doesn't look good yet, continue". For some strange reason I couldn't let this go. It wouldn't work for such a long time, and it wouldn't let me work on anything else!!! I think it's ready. I think... I have to upload some details, they're really cool if I say so myself. I'd also like to upload the scenery without the model. It just works so good by itself. I might use it again for a project I have in mind... Hope you like it! This one in particular is really special to me. All stock is mine Wed, 18 Apr 2012 10:22:49 -0400 Mausoleum of Senses
I think it speaks for itself. There's a really depressing rant I wrote somewhere else that I won't copy paste here, but it's still unfortunately relevant. Oh well, Nevermind! All stock is mine Wed, 18 Apr 2012 10:22:47 -0400 Selective Amnesia
Even though this could have been done in a few hours it took me foreveeeeer. It was probably because I was way too busy with my thesis and with life in general. But once everything settled down and everything was suddenly better, this came out. So simple, yet effective. I really love this one. That is actually the very first photoshoot I made with my new camera ♥ All stock is mine. Wed, 18 Apr 2012 10:22:44 -0400 Equilibrium
So tell me, that place; Is it the very top of the world, or it's border? I wanted to play a little bit with the perception of the scenery. Like always, I didn't want it to feel like it was real. Yes, dream-like as always, but also like a sort of man-constructed scenery, you know, for theatres, plays, and the sort. I absolutely adore that feeling those places can recreate; the feeling that you're in a fantasy world, but constructed by real hands, real people. It's wonderful and at the same time a little anguishing, because the limits between reality and dream aren't as vague, but at the same time, they're still there. I'm probably not making any sense at all, but I swear it does in my mind. No, wait, that's not exactly right either... Do comment. I'd love to read what you think :) All stock was taken by me.
