So I'm of two minds with this piece.
One side of me still loves this piece to bits - it was one of the few vectors that I'm completely proud of.
The other side of me feels bad for posting this because while I am so so happy that dA has been a huge part of me these past few years, I don't quite feel the same way about it anymore. Which saddens me, but I'm still incredibly grateful for everything that happened there. So this is me posting my tribute to dA. Sure it was made for their birthday nearly 3 years ago, but I still count it as one of my favourites.

I don't know why I missed this one in your dA gallery, but it's definitely eye candy! I adore the colours and details on her stockings and the camera.

I think I'm just on hiatus from dA for the time being. I still go and look around and everything, but I kinda feel quite drowned out over there at the moment. It'll pass. It always does. lol

God those stockings were so much fun to do. Which is totally not what I thought would ever happen - although the fact that I didn't zoom out to look at them in their entirety until I was done. I'm pretty sure that made the process much quicker. lol! The camera was a bit trickier because I wasn't sure about what I should emphasise or just leave flat. But it worked out ok in the end. =)

you should love it! the colors go so wonderfully together, and even the smallest details like the camera and her bracelets are well done. i like it the way it is but, it`d probably look really nice if you colored it, too. i`ve never done vector or anything of the like; i`m not the best in digital art :P

Yeah definitely. I think I had intentionally left the colour off because it just popped so much more with just the lineart. And with a background that loud, I think she had to stay that way, too! XD
