This was done with Copic markers and multiliners. Tue, 11 Sep 2012 12:04:09 -0400 High Priest Eamxu
I made this image as an example of art and as a thank you for helping me out in a game. The character is Eamxu from Talon Ro. I'm not used to doing this type of digital colouring, but I have been trying to transition from traditional to digital, because it is cheaper. Especially if the image is being given as an online gift or in exchange for digital cash. I am still trying to discover my style with this. Thu, 23 Aug 2012 11:51:46 -0400 Sasuke and Hinata "crack pairing"
This image is of two characters from the manga "Naruto" by Kishimoto Masashi, and is intended to be a black and white inked drawing only. It was created early in 2007 on inexpensive paper with multiliner ink pens. I drew this and posted it originally at another art posting community. It seems to be my most popular line art drawing, which honestly surprises me, as it is considered a "crack pairing" of two highly unlikely characters forming a romantic interest. I have given a select few permission to colour it, and I myself may decide to recreate it in a colour version one day. Wed, 23 May 2012 01:43:43 -0400 Koi On An Outhouse
This small mural was painted outside of a concrete outhouse, outside of my grandfather's home in the Philippines. Our relatives had requested that my younger brother and I decorate it. I took the side wall and he took the door. The koi fish had a lot of meaning for my grandfather and I. It represented the enjoyment we had to watch koi fish in ponds and quoting excerpts from one of my favourite children's stories, as a child, "Joanjo" (A Portuguise tale). Although, to this day I am uncertain as to why koi fish were the only fish to elicit quotations from that folk tale. A notable event that happened while I was painting this image, is that after the first day that I had started, it rained in the afternoon and overnight. The paint was still wet and we were unable to cover it in time and appropriately. Most of the mural was washed off the next day. I was luckily able to recreate it exactly once again within a single day from morning to late afternoon, and it was a hot dry day afterwards. This painting was done freehand, with commercial outdoor paints, clear sealant, and the worst and cheapest dollar store brushes you can imagine. Ha ha. This was a great 2 day challenge. Wed, 23 May 2012 01:25:34 -0400 Finger Painted Apple
This image was drawn almost two years ago. I had purchased my iPhone4 and wanted to test it out, as I had never owned a touch phone before. An apple seemed like the easiest image to draw. I used the free software "ArtStudio Lite" and my finger tips to create this. Wed, 23 May 2012 01:18:19 -0400 White Queen Biochemist
This is based on a Biochemist character from Ragnarok Online. The character name is White Queen. Typically the outfit is depicted in game wearing a pleated skirt, as the official art is depicted wearing a short dress. Since headgears on a character are all by choice, I wanted the outfit to better reflect those said headgears. (Headgears: Side Cap, Gas Mask) I went with a full catsuit to express that the game character is always on the move and ready for anything. (Other notes: The monster on her shoulder is a "homonculus" which is a helpful pet exclusive to alchemist/biochemists classes. This piece was done in Berol pencil crayon and Copic multiliners.
