What a beautifull macro foto. I like it very much specially how the photo is converging to the center of the flower. I also like the way you composed the photo with the flower more in the left and the center of it a bit in the bottom. The colors are also fantastic, the purple of the flower is well contrasted with the green of the background.
I wonder if you took this photo with a non-digital camera. because the photo isn't very sharp and seams like it was scaned.
Still this is really beautifull. 5 stars and favourite

  But no, this is a digital shot. Usually with macro shots it's very picky about what's in focus and what's not.
  If you enlarge the file, you can see the very details in the center of the flower, leaving everything else a bit softer. Which is why it's a personal favourite of mine. :]
