Oil on Primed Paper Artist- IBRAR YUNUS December 2012 What to write here? well, I have this beautiful painting out of the scanner now, and in my hands. And now I'm thinking ' where to start'. It is sometimes unusual that how we we unable to describe our own paintings. Well, here's a start: The normal viewer sees a bed; a somewhat stylized bed. I have had been practicing with cross-hatching and the artistic power of parallel lines, but had only limited them to the crisp white paper of my sketchbook. Now, I practiced these with oil paints too, and these give a rather unique feel to the viewer. Separate from what is displayed on my sketchbook. An easier interpretation would be 'more dreamy' perhaps. So, YES! this is 'the' emotive bed. How I see the morning, the pale yellow- young amber rays. Cracking me out from the shell of my dream- Pulling em back from the Astral into this 'Reality'. The yellowish tints in this give me the feeling of dizziness- even a little annoying. Like I have just woken up. I could go on and on about the yellow in this. But, alas! Lets move on to the folds. The folds of the bed. I admit that I made the folds as a challenge. A plain bed would've been quite easy,but more 'impressionistic'. But I am happy with these folds; reflecting the moment- the first light. The Abstraction- This is the power of parallel lines ( beneath the bed), Incomplete- Rapidly Changing. Time is creating the next scene. Hence, I could not use the whole paper. This concludes my basic interpretation of my artwork. I urge the viewer and the art enthusiast to not be limited my words- Feel free to interpret it as you like.

So, Cynosure! Well, As my previous 2 paintings displayed scenes of daylight, I wanted to do something different this time and went with a night time scene.. Almost all the the knife's features ( tip, blade, sides..etc) were optimized into creating this beautiful painting. The features that I really like in this one are the yellowish tint in the sky (moon hidden behind clouds) and the reflective marble floor. __

So, why did I title it as 'Bi-Location'? Well 1) Bi-Location seems like an exotic word, yeah really! Urban Dictionary<--- thankyou! 2)Bi-Location is creepy! 3)Bi-Location is very mysterious, that secretly everyone is trying.....hehe 4)My room is haunted with my doppelganger, Im trying to make friends with 'myself'; Imagine: me on the internet, the doppelganger doing chores! Oh yeah! Well, so WTF is this Bi-Location? Well, some dude on deviantArt once mentioned something about Astral travel and mysterious stuff like that ( before going further, I want to clear out, that I love and trust only hard science, not pseudoscience of astral planes..etc....I just was curious..hehe), so Bi-Location is when one (by deep meditation/trance state) translates his/her consciousness to a nearby physical space; such that after sometime, one begins to form their copy at that location. Controlled by one consciousness though.. __

The Forgotten One

I present to you, The Forgotten One Oil on Paper (A4 at that, and yup I have one less printing paper..).. The first two images are for 'show-off' literally, and have been 'enhanced' for viewing pleasure. But I'm also uploading the real images (as captured), so that one can clearly see the original colors and stuff. ____ So, umm the details: The day before yesterday, I was feeling very low and sad (Result Day!), so it was almost dinner time; and I had almost half an hour to spare, and thinking of nothing else I started painting whatever came to my mind. So obviously, i was in a negative mood, so painted a person being blown away in the wind. Since a little 'annoyed', i ignored the 'rules', and ended up creating this; completely freehand.... ______ Afterwards, I noticed that Holy S**t, this really looks abit awesome I'm gonna make a series on them.. So yeah, I really am going to create a series of paintings like these."
