Shadowness - Zindy I'm an artist from Denmark, Copenhagen. I love emotive, fantasy and portraiture. en She with the feathers
The drawings is done with charcoal - my forever favourite medium. It sort of represents finding strength, spiritual connection and peace within. It's not been easy not having a home of my own, sort of like wandering without that inner peace. It's been a very learning experience as well and it's certainly made me more appreciative of actually having my own bed to sleep in now that I am in a new nice home :) Sun, 30 Nov 2014 11:04:57 -0500 Skybound - Raven
This is the first drawing completed after we moved. I am very happy to be done with it and be able to draw and enjoy the summer days for a while. The drawing is another Raven, just love drawing them. I am going to do some more bird drawing including other birds too, I hope this will be the start of a new 'Skybound' bird series. I hope you like the first one :) The original drawing and prints of it available in my shop: Mon, 04 Aug 2014 17:29:05 -0400 2 of wands - choosing my path
I am part of a very exciting project where 78 different artists each create their version of a card in a tarot deck. My drawing 2 of Wands is finally completed. I've called it Choosing my path. When I went into this project I had no knowledge about Tarot cards, I always found them a bit scary to be honest. There weren't many cards left to choose from when I joined the project but when I saw 2 of wands I felt it was my card right away. Afterwards I went to read about it and I just knew it was the perfect card for me in many ways... I loved doing this drawing. I put a lot of hours into it but enjoyed every minute of it. I wanted the card to be a classic emotive girl of mine. She's put together by different things, the arms are mine - I took some photos holding a couple of brooms to make the angle look correct. I tried to make her face look like my beautiful friend Anja-Amanda and the dress folds are from's dresses. The rest is imaginary, it's usually how I work, I love combining realistic elements with fantasy imaginary stuff, sort of mixing it up and make it original. I miss tattooing but it's good to get some drawing done too. The drawing is done with charcoal. The girl is loosely based on a friend of mine, Alessandra. She has this beautiful native look. The drawing took many hours to complete but I am happy with the overall look. The drawing is available at my webshop: Mon, 14 Apr 2014 04:14:38 -0400 With the ravens
Charcoal. 30x42cm | 12x16" I can't believe this is finally all completed. I started it late November last year. The pine trees took me a very long time to get right, probably due to me being such a perfectionist, I could probably have used another week on them alone It's my first time doing snow on pine trees and I wouldn't recommend it unless you are very patient. I'll probably do it again though. Thanks to model for the basic girl pose: Fri, 14 Mar 2014 01:58:31 -0400 Day of the dead
If there is one motive being popular in the tattoo world it's definite the Day of the dead girl - dia de los muertos. I figured I better prepare myself and draw a few of them so I am ready for some pretty girls tattoos :) It took a very long time to do, especially the hair and the roses. I kept the makeup of her simple this time cause I thought it was most fitting with her sad expression. I used the cute model :iconaehireiel-stock: as pose reference for my drawing, she got one of the most beautiful emotive stocks, you should definitely check her out. I've used her for a few of my drawings already. Available through my webshop: Thu, 20 Feb 2014 14:42:54 -0500 Border Collie Skye
Commissioned drawing for a customer. Sun, 02 Feb 2014 12:55:53 -0500 Days of hope
Happy New Year to you all, hope you had a nice end of 2013 and a wonderful beginning of 2014. I hope 2014 will be just as amazing as last year was for me, I can't believe how much my life has changed ♥ Created with soft charcoal. Model used is my beautiful friend Robin McQuay: Available through the shop: Wed, 01 Jan 2014 14:42:16 -0500 Protector of the heart
I am very happy to be able to show the finished version of this drawing. I started it late November but had it stored at a friend's house incomplete. Picked it up yesterday and been working on it every since. I was listening to Avril Lavigne's latest album, the song "Hello Heartache" in particular while drawing it. If you don't know the song it's one of the most emotive songs: As most of you have discovered by now I am very fond of drawing birds and I got this idea in my head of the Raven as protector of her heart. I am working on a similar drawing to go with this one. Thanks to the wonderful model for the pose: Available through the shop: Sat, 21 Dec 2013 16:36:55 -0500 The Roof
I can't really explain why this drawing is special to me. Won't say much about it as I'd rather you make your own thoughts. My 2013 has been so life changing for me, I can't believe all the amazing things that has happened to me.. I really feel like I am finding myself again and getting back to my strong self. The drawing has been in the making for a while now and finally finished it this evening. I asked on my Instagram and private FB whether to have a cat or bird with her on the roof and a lot of you liked both ideas. However, the bird that came up a lot was the Raven and as it was my very first thought when I started the drawing I think it was a sign :) Made with charcoal.
