Thank you dear Kat I don't, but a lot of my close relatives do. I hope you had an amazing Easter with your loved ones P.S. I voted for you at the Annual Fairies and Fantasy Art Awards competition. I just think it's truly sad how 4 out of 5 artists who got the most numbers of votes are digital artists. Now I am not saying there is no good digital art, but the work of those artists truly can not even be compared to your work. The magic a traditional artist can create is something no digital artist can ever achieve....It's such a pity that nowadays most people don't seem to appreciate true quality and the truly magical world only skilled, traditional artists like yourself can create..
Hugs thank YOU so much Zejneb for all your support ♥ I hope people who recognize what an artist goes through to draw paint traditionally appreciate the hard work , with public voting competitions there will always be controversy , I'm always a fan of separate categories digitally vs traditionally balances out more i think , I too love several digital artworks and have several favorite digital artists but I think even the most experienced digital artist if honest will admit traditional work is the hardest , we have no computer keys to fix problems or digital brushes to add contrast when doing all this by traditional. Art medium pencil or paint its so hard...lol. Thanks again for all your support and for voting for me I feel like a winner like all artists should despite numbers..having the support of people who appreciate my art ♥
You are most welcome dear Kat You are so right, traditional work will always remain harder to create. Especially now that technology keeps making it easier for the digital artists to "perfection" their work. And to be quite honest, some of these digital artists do "cheat" so to speak. I know of many artists who could never achieve certain complexities when they used only traditional media, but then when they switched to using digital tools, all of a sudden they immediately started drawing far more realistically with far more complex subjects than they ever could. Which to me again, makes their work look less "magical". You have the perfect solution for these kind of competitions: have separate categories for traditional and digital artists. Too bad that was not the case in this competition. And to me your work should have went to the next round and then won the competition
