Hello, ladies & gentlemen; My name is Jody Anthony "Mr. Dark" Thompson. Of course, as you are all aware of, Mr. Dark happens to be my Goth name. I am originally from New York City, born in Brooklyn and raised in Manhattan. I live and breathe the urban life. New York has been my beloved native soil since I was seven years old, but I also love Philadelphia the same way. I love the urban life and I do not care for the rural environment or any places other than major cities. I possess and maintain a good and charming character throughout my personal, professional and academic life. I consider myself as being honest, fair, easy going, goal oriented, intelligent, and very gentleman like. I'm also very ambitious, adventurous in most aspects, career minded, and well-educated. Politically, I am a democrat. I view myself as being affable, strong-willed and also tough but fair. As far as languages are concerned, I practically speak a little German; still practicing. I am practicing to speak a foreign language, beginning with German and lateron, Spanish and Japanese. Education wise, I am currently a criminal justice major in college. On the side, I also study sociology, public speaking, psychology, and get involved with the paralegal program. My Employment or shall I say Self-Employment: I am also a free-lance horror author and dark artist who, along with his partners are currently creating a series of erotic horror literature and artwork. I am currently in the stages of creating his own line of erotic horror stories which features an all-female main cast and his own company dubbed; Mr. Dark's Mayhem. The title of my book is called Crimson Lust. Business wise, I am in the stages of creating my own line of erotic horror, which features an all-female cast; just like the L-Word. I am also in the stages of starting my own art and literary company called Mr. Dark's Mayhem. My first question to everyone is this; any "Fight Club" fans here? Well, what is there to say about myself? First off I am horrible at writing about myself, but will give it a go! I started drawing when I could pick up a pencil, and really got into it about 2003. I stopped it soon after and then picked it back up in late 2004, became serious about my work in mid 2005 and have continued to improve from there. Right now I live just outside Atlanta, GA and plan to attend Savannah College of Art and Design in fall of '08 at their third campus here in Atlanta. <p> As far as my inspiration goes it can be a little weird sometimes, but I think every artist can admit to that. My main inspiration comes from my music, which is mainly industrial, ebm, tbm, metal and the like. <p> I am always open for commission work and sometimes even collaborations. I am also generally a very friendly person to talk too, so feel free to drop me a message or comment.

I'm versatile, and ever changing. I listen to metal, heavy metal, and death metal. Music is a big part of my life, so is taking pictures; I guess photography would be big with me. I'm not by any means a good photographer, I'm new to it, for the most part... I started really getting into taking pictures about two years ago. I don't really go anywhere without my camera, unless I am short of batteries. My parents are supportive in my choices, good or bad, they believe I should live life to learn life. I am 21 year old freelance illustrator and student from Portugal currently finnishing my Master's Degree on Graphic Design. Illustration has always been my passion and I want to develop my skills a lot. So, I'm open for any comment or critique. I work both digital and tradicional but so far I have only posted my digital works in here. Soon I'll had some tradicional works.
