Right, this is experiment, pretty much finally finished, took about 3-4 hours to make spread over about 3 days, doing a bit each day.
I have had a bit of assistance/guidance with this one, as it is quite a bit more detailed and advanced than my previous work, so i would like to thank Ruairdridh for crits of this piece as it was being created, nd also Alukarl, for his slight guidance :P lol.
I am very pleased with this piece, this style of star scape is very new to me, and i think that it has been a big improvement for my work. Also whats new is the lens flare, which works really well with the colour of the scene, and helps to keep the realism of the overall image.
I am definatly going to do some more of these star scapes, i have gained inspiration and new techniques. Thanks once again to those that helped.
any more comments or crits will still be appreciated and taken into account for my next piece :)

Good improvement. Work on the starscapes equally with the planets so that one doesn't look phenomenally better than the other...making the image unbalanced.

Ooohh big crit I just notices. Unless that star is physically that small and touching the planet...the other planet on the left of the image should not be lit up at all like that.

yeah, i was trying 2 make it so that it was.......actually, that doesn't really make any sense, i was originally trying 2 make it behind the light source, so it was more lit up on the front, but the planet is way too big to do that realistically.
