Aww, thank you I think seeing that round sun spot really brought that whole sensibility into focus while I was composing this, and got me to bring in the asymmetrical abstract loveliness that characterizes so much great Asian artwork.
Thanks! I used water reflections to get the background, so I could get the sun and sky in put have the lighting relate to the grass upside down and light the frame in the way I wanted. Which added more complexity to the shoot but I am happy with how it turned out.
Hah, perhaps you are right and this hearkens to Rashomon and that breed of movies a bit. If so that would be flattering.
