A MONTAGE OF ENDLESS POETRY
(A Poetography on Sharjan desert -April 12, 2012)
BY: EUGENE CAASI

How I dreamed of capturing an image
Before the sun crawls down to its bed
As it leaves colorful hue and spectrum
To shade the clouds with divine pigment

Or giving life to barren desert dunes
As sands dance until they create patterns
Solitary old tree branches stand augustly
As leaves withered gladly on the ground

Seizing this soulful juncture of reverence
Living me in awe with a deep, silent sigh
Hoping I could softly squeeze this trigger
Before darkness can obscure the light

To shout out loud in this wilderness
Like praises soaring through thin air
Is as immortal as the sky's radiance
A majestic art I can't let it pass me by

A montage of endless poetry, yes it is
If I may describe this scenic wonder
For only, sudden freezing of the moment
Is the only way to seal my fascination...
